Selim Yuna - Biography
Selim is a highly experienced professional with over 25 years of experience in auditing,
corporate finance, strategy, business development, and financial and general management. He has worked across a variety of industries, including electronics, white goods, energy, telecom, real estate, chemicals, entertainment, hospitality, and F&B. Selim has held key leadership roles in some of the largest Turkish conglomerates, including Doğuş Holding, Ora Gayrimenkul Yatırım ve Geliştirme A.Ş., Fiba Capital Holding, and Zorlu Holding. He has also worked as an auditor at Price Waterhouse Coopers and as a corporate finance associate at Yapı Kredi Yatırım and ABN Amro. Furthermore, Selim was the co-founder of Libertas, a consultancy boutique specializing in turnaround management, debt/equity finance, and management consulting.
Selim has participated in numerous significant financial transactions, including managing two
share offerings of USD 280 million, two corporate bond offerings of USD 425m, and a €75m private placement for Vestel Group. As an advisory team member in the privatization of Turk Telekom, he managed the relationship between the consortium and Price Waterhouse Coopers. Selim has a BA in Economics from Marmara University, an MA in International Relations from Bilgi University, and completed an Executive Education program from London School of Economics. He is also a certified coach.
